Callum Wallace | Birth Story

On July 5, 2019 I had the privilege of documenting the birth of baby Cal…at HOME.  I personally gave birth at home with all four of my children and was a part-time doula when my children were young, so I felt very natural in this environment. I feel deep in my heart that birth is special wherever one feels safe to give birth, but I personally LOVE home-birth and the sacredness of it all. Moving forward (for birth photography), I’ve made a decision to document only births at home and not in the hospital; it is a way of keeping things simple and in line with my passion. I have my client’s permission to share these photos. I hope you catch  glimpses of love, patience, gentleness, peace, and  pure joy for this precious family. All images here were within four hours of baby Cal’s birth. I am truly thankful that I get to do what I love.
