2018 will forever be the year when God downloaded an extravagant gift on me that I didn’t ask for but He knew it was a deep DEEP desire of my heart…and that is to travel and see as much of the world as possible! He led me to Canada, France, Hong Kong, Iceland, and in between these international travels, I made a bunch of trips to and from Las Vegas (where my precious Grandson Duke lives), Oahu & Maui Hawaii, New York to see my little brother, Tennessee, Texas, and to California a couple times to stuff my eyes with beautiful things. Whew! :) My very last trip was Portland, Oregon where I visited a dear friend and ate three times at the most amazing little French restaurant where the heart of the owner/chef was almost tangible. What a year. What a God. I am so humbled and grateful.

ICELAND

That one time when I went to Iceland and its beauty blew me away! I even rented a car for the first time being out of the country and it was a success. So thankful and hope to go back soon to chase more rainbows and waterfalls. Fun fact about Iceland: though some parts are very green, there are no trees. :) If you ever have an opportunity to go to Iceland, I hope you say yes and go for it!

Ending with the Blue Lagoon because it was so magical. The only slot available to me when booking was 8PM, and I wasn’t sure if it was worth it, but it was!!! It exceeded all my expectations and I felt so happy and alive. I want to go back to Iceland. Next time I want to challenge myself to find some natural hot springs, pick wild blueberries, and maybe see a herd of reindeer. *I’m dreaming BIG*

Short trip to NYC to visit my little brother and was surprised with the NYC Marathon outside my door. I’ve never been up-close to a marathon before, so this was very interesting. I was really inspired by all the faces; over 50,000 participated and finished! Wow. And oh, I love Brooklyn in the fall. Ate at Romans for the first time too and it was fabulous! I hope to go back soon. _MG_2613

When you love your wedding dress SO MUCH that you take it on your honeymoon!!! :)
Christina’s dress was made and designed by Made with Love Bridal. They are an Austrian based company and work with clients worldwide. I’m obsessed with how comfortable this dress is for Christina and it fits her like a glove. And she literally rolled it up in a suitcase and look at how great it looks on her! Just amazing. I love this girl so much.

I feel most alive when I travel. This is my fourth time to the island of Oahu, Hawaii.
I love this little spot on the North Shore…
