When covid testing was lifted for Alaska, I flew to Anchorage and drove to Homer. This was DAY ONE at around 9:30PM. This calf is about 5-7 days old and I can’t tell you just how special it was that I got to capture these intimate moments between the cow and her calf. Wow God and THANK YOU.

How many of us are coming out of 2020 and ready for new start? If I’ve learned anything, it would be to pursue things that matter and find joy in every moment. Photography remains the one constant to help me linger in the beauty all around me, in every season. And for that, I’m truly grateful.

We had snow, sleet, and rain last night in Chicago. The sun came out this morning and we had the most gorgeous scenery at The Morton Arboretum. We basically had an ice show and it’s impossible to document the true beauty on camera. There are things in life that you’d have to experience to deeply understand. :)
